The rules and conditions for using the Outlast Community Bot and server.
These Terms apply to all users who interact with the Bot or the Outlast Community Discord server in any way, including sending messages, using slash commands, participating in the economy system, opening tickets, or taking part in giveaways.
Your continued use of the Bot after any changes to these Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13 years old in most countries, or older where required by local law) to use the Bot and participate in the server. By using the Bot, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Additionally, your Discord account must be in good standing and not suspended or banned by Discord at the time of use.
You may use the Bot and its features for personal, non-commercial participation in the Outlast Community server. Acceptable use includes:
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and may result in warnings, mutes, kicks, or permanent bans depending on severity:
The Bot features an in-server virtual economy including currency, inventory items, a marketplace, mining, gambling, and a shop. All virtual items and currency exist solely within the Bot and have no real-world monetary value.
Gambling commands (e.g. coinflip, slots) are purely for entertainment within the server. No real money is involved at any point.
Staff members have the authority to enforce these Terms and server rules at their discretion. The Bot assists with automated enforcement for certain violations (anti-swear, anti-link, auto-ban channels), but human staff make final decisions on sanctions.

If you believe a moderation action was applied in error, you may appeal by submitting the ban appeal form sent to you via DM, or by contacting an administrator through a mutual server.
The Bot and the Outlast Community server are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Bot's uptime, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
The Bot may experience downtime, data loss, or unexpected behaviour due to Discord API changes, hosting issues, or bugs. We are not liable for any disruption to your experience as a result.
AI Chat responses are generated by a third-party AI model (OpenAI) and do not represent the views or opinions of the Outlast Community or its staff. AI responses may be inaccurate — do not rely on them for important decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Outlast Community, its administrators, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bot or participation in the server.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of virtual currency or items, missed giveaway entries, data loss due to Bot resets, or any harm caused by other users in the server.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Major changes may be announced in the server's announcements channel.
Your continued use of the Bot or participation in the server after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
