We do not collect your email address, IP address, real name, or any information outside of Discord.
All data collected is used exclusively to operate the Bot's features within the Outlast Community Discord server. Specifically, your data is used to:
Track your XP, rank, and level progression as you participate in the server. Maintain your in-game economy balance, inventory, and trading history. Record moderation actions so staff can enforce server rules fairly and consistently. Generate ticket transcripts for staff review when support tickets are closed. Display statistics on the public leaderboard and server status pages.
Bot data is stored in a local SQLite database on the server where the Bot is hosted. Access to this database is restricted to the Bot process and the server's administrator.
In-memory data (such as AFK status) is held in the Bot's runtime and is cleared automatically when the Bot restarts or the data expires.
While we take reasonable precautions to secure stored data, no system is completely immune to security vulnerabilities. We encourage you to use Discord's own privacy and security settings to protect your account.
Your data is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the Bot's features. Specifically:
XP, economy, and rank data — Retained indefinitely so your progress is preserved across sessions. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
Moderation records — Retained to ensure server rules are enforced consistently. Staff may review these when handling future incidents.
Ticket transcripts — Retained in the staff transcript channel until manually deleted by an administrator.
In-memory data — Cleared automatically when the Bot restarts or the feature session ends.
The Bot integrates with the following third-party services to deliver certain features:
Discord — The Bot operates entirely within Discord's platform. All communication happens via Discord's API and is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
OpenAI — The AI Chat feature sends your message to the OpenAI API to generate a response. Messages sent to this feature are processed by OpenAI and are subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information through the AI Chat command.
TikTok Live — The stream notification feature monitors TikTok Live for configured streamers. No user data is sent to TikTok.
play-dl / YouTube — The music feature fetches audio streams for playback. No personal data is transmitted.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the data the Bot holds about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact the server administrator or open a support ticket in the Outlast Community Discord server.
Access — You may request a summary of all data stored about your account.
Correction — If any of your data is inaccurate, you may request a correction.
Deletion — You may request that your data be deleted. Note that deleting your data will reset your XP, economy balance, and all other progress permanently.
The Bot is intended for use on Discord, which requires users to be at least 13 years of age (or older depending on your country) under Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect data from users under the applicable minimum age.
If you believe a minor has submitted data through the Bot, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Bot's features or applicable laws. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
Continued use of the Bot after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend checking this page periodically.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or the data we hold, please reach out through the Outlast Community Discord server.
